Themes Media Education publications were established in 1998 by an independent group of directors interested in raising the profile of education throughout Victoria. Themes Media became a division of Star News Group in 2006. The magazines were developed as a direct result of feedback from the schools wanting an education specific platform.
Today the magazines and web sites are published in print and online as Victoria School Guides.
