Water meters tapped out

PAKENHAM police are seeking assistance from the public over a spate of water meters removed from Pakenham’s Main Street.

Acting Senior Sergeant Ray De Reus said police had received reports of a man walking up the street with a spanner and hacksaw between 9.30pm and 10.30pm on Sunday.

He was described as Caucasian with long black curly hair and wearing dark blue pants and a green hat.
