Customers can find a range of artwork at the Last Frontier Tattoo Shop

STEP into the Last Frontier Tattoo shop in Upwey for a magical journey not to be missed.

The shop was inspired by three long-time artists with a common goal – to change perceptions of the industry.

Jamin Swaneveld a local artist and creator of the former Willow Woods in Belgrave had a burning desire to create another shop.

He was soon joined by two other talented artists, Mik Szirer and David Hall.

Mr Szirer is a veteran who has an established reputation in the south-east as a gun tattooist and brush artist.

Mr Hall’s artistic talent is as diverse as his dream was … to open his own tattoo parlour with a difference.

The trio wanted to create an atmosphere that welcomed everyone to their ‘fantastical tattoo’ parlour.

The shop is now open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11.30am to 6pm, Thursdays and Fridays from 11.30am until late, Saturdays 10.30am till late and Sunday by appointment only.

Those thinking about getting a tattoo can drop into the shop and be inspired by its range of artwork on display.

Customers can also go in the running to receive a free pack valued at $80 with every gift certificate purchased before Christmas, but only while stocks last.

The Last Frontiers Tattoo shop can be found at 10 Main Street, Upwey, or call for more information.
