Garfield Golf Club’s ladies championship winners Ronda Knee (senior trophy), Cecilia Stewart (C-grade champion), Gwen Vitiritti (A-grade champion of champions and silver division), Leesa Mathews (Bronze Division B) and Meredith Bowers (daily division-one winner).

GWEN Vitiritti ruled the tee at Garfield Golf Club in the final round to win the A-grade champion of champions’ event last week.

With a gross 271/18 handicap, Gwen also won the silver division and the least putts with 85 over the three rounds.

B-grade was an exciting finish with Vikki Templeton and Leesa Mathews ending the three games even.

There was a play-off and after three holes Leesa won with her last putt on the third hole.

Bronze division-B was Leesa Mathews with a gross 293 and handicap 20.

C-grade champion was Cecilia Stewart with a 331 gross and 33 handicap.

The handicap champion over 54 holes was Meredith Bowers gross 295, handicap 27 and 216 nett.

The senior trophy event was won by Ronda Knee, gross 326, handicap 29.

The daily winner of division-one was Meredith Bowers (handicap 25), 74 nett.

Division-two winner was Bev Hopkinson (handicap 32), 76 nett.

Best nine out: Lyn Pinner 32.5 nett. Best nine in: Cecilia Stewart 35.5 nett.

Putts: Sharon Carmody 31.

Nearest to pins: Leesa Mathews 11th and second shot 16th Gwen Vitiritti.

Birdies: Amanda Norton. Gobblers: Lyn Vears, sixth and 17th and Lyn Knight 13th.
