Dandenong Primary School students with RAAF Roulettes.

PRIMARY school students this week met with a handful of Australia’s fastest men.

The Royal Australian Airforce Roulettes visited both Dandenong Primary School and Lyndale Primary School as part of a competition held in conjunction with the Star and John Filmer from Dandenong RSL.

The Roulettes are by day Australia’s best fighter pilots but in their own time also fly highly manoeuvrable aircraft and perform military displays for special celebrations such as Anzac Day.

Dandenong Primary School student Vedrana, 11, who was a winner in Star’s Design-A-Plane competition, and her classmates received a personal visit from five of the seven Roulettes, as well as signed posters.

Likewise, Lyndale Primary School students Mana and Linda, both 10 years old, were also competition winners and they and their classmates also received a visit and posters from the Roulettes.
