AUSTRALIA Day celebrations to bring the community together will be held in Williamstown and Altona on the Australia Day long weekend.

Highlights will include the Australia Day breakfast, citizenship ceremony and the awards presentations for citizen and young citizen of the year.

There will also be the sailing of the tall ships, Summer Sounds music concert and Australia Day in Altona celebrations.

Australian band The Mercurials will play at the Summer Sounds concert on 25 January at Williamstown’s Commonwealth Reserve, and the Australia Day breakfast and citizenship ceremony will be held on 26 January at the Williamstown Town Hall.
