OLYMPIC shooter Russell Mark will present a men’s health promotion day in Altona on 22 October.

Mark will help the Western Region Men’s Health Network host the event that will address some of the important issues that affect men.

These include the recognition of heart attack and dealing with stress in a high pressure environment.

The event will be held at the Altona Bowling Club from 10am to 2pm and will be one of several health interventions in Hobsons Bay to influence health and well-being in men.

In Hobsons Bay, the prevalence of smoking-related deaths and diabetes is significantly higher than the state average.
