Passion and commitment pays off

KEVIN Nguyen, of Westbourne Grammar School has won a coveted VCE High Achiever award.
The 24 VCE High Achievers, announced by Premier Steve Bracks, gained study scores of 46 or higher in at least five VCE studies in 2006 and 2005.
“Each of these students must be congratulated for the energy and enthusiasm they have brought to their studies. Achieving excellence in any field is a great challenge and these students have shown what can be done with passion and commitment,” Mr Bracks said.
Kevin, of Hoppers Crossing, is particularly fascinated by maths and science, and has gone on to study dentistry at the University of Melbourne.
