A 20-YEAR-OLD Werribee man has been killed in a single-vehicle accident in western Victoria.

The man, whose name had not been released at the time of going to press, was travelling on the Midland Highway at Buninyong about 1.50 am last Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree.

He died at the scene. Police said he was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

His death puts Victoria’s road toll at 133, three fewer than for the same time last year.
