THE Werribee Visitor Information Centre is inviting residents to take a step back in time as they provide guided tours around the suburb.

The Werribee township historic walk will give residents a chance to discover more about their own backyard.

As part of Victorian Tourism Week the WVIC will also be holding a tour of public art in Wyndham.

Wyndham Mayor Heather Marcus said the tours were all about showcasing the cultural side of Wyndham.
