PUPILS Isabella Bojic and Zac Reynolds, both aged 12, were happy to welcome Stephanie Alexander to the Thomas Chirnside Primary School in Werribee last week. On Thursday, the school’s Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden was officially opened by the well-known cook herself. Ms Alexander’s not-for-profit Kitchen Garden Foundation organisation helps establish vegetable gardens at primary schools for children in Years 3 to 6 to learn about growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing food.
