LITTLE Analisa will have stars in her eyes this weekend as she performs in front of a packed audience in Taylors Lakes.
The talented toddler will do her best version of every child’s favourite nursery rhyme Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the piano as part of a concert to raise money for the Smith Family.
Analisa is a student at the Australian Keyboard Academy in Delahey, and owner Lorenzo Capitanio said teaching youngsters was perhaps the most rewarding thing about his job.
“Opening the school was my way of encouraging children to appreciate music,” Mr Capitanio said.
He said the idea to donate all the proceeds from the concert was a way to combine a love of music with helping people.
“I thought it would be a good way to give back to the community and a great way for kids to learn music and help people at the same time.”
This is the fourth fundraising concert Mr Capitanio’s school has held for the Smith Family and so far the group has raised over $2000 to be allocated to local Brimbank primary school children as educational scholarships next year.
There are two concerts this Sunday 12 September, starting from 2pm at the Starlight Centre, Keilor Melton Highway. $5 entry.
