THE flags were flying at Albion North Primary School last week as footy fever took hold.
Uniforms were given the flick for the day with students donning their favourite footy colours to raise money for cancer.
The rivalries are tense on the field but it was all fun and games during school hours as junior football fan Maddison showed her Magpie stripes off to Emily, Shaunna and Patricia.
The girls helped to raise funds to support the Cancer Council’s Fight Cancer Foundation, which cares for patients living with cancer and supports research into the disease.
Other schools that took part in the celebrations included Sunshine Harvester Primary and Taylors Lakes Secondary College.
