FORMER Brimbank councillor Margaret Giudice has been hired to work for Federal MP Brendan O’Connor.
A spokesman from Mr O’Connor’s office last week confirmed Ms Giudice had been employed as a casual electorate officer but would not reveal when the deal was struck.
The former Taylors Ward councillor was sensationally stripped of her council role when Local Government Minister Richard Wynne sacked all eleven councillors in September.
The spokesman would not reveal the hours Ms Giudice worked but said she also volunteered her time on top of her paid duties.
Ms Giudice will temporarily replace former councillor Robert Bozinovski, who has worked as a part-time electorate officer for Mr O’Connor since 2005.
Mr Bozinovski famously quit his position as a councillor to remain an electorate officer just moments before his colleagues were dismissed by the State Government.
Star attempted to contact Ms Giudice for comment but calls were not returned prior to deadline.
