Steel stolen

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a burglary in which sheets of steel were stolen from a Derrimut building site.
It is believe about 140 sheets of steel, reinforcing mesh and steel bars, were stolen from the Castro Way premises last Tuesday night (2 June).
The steel had been on a work site behind a locked cyclone wire fence and was worth about $60,000.
Police believe a semi trailer and crane would have been used to take the steel.
