School is cooking

CELEBRITY chef Gabriel Gate went back to school last Tuesday for the annual Principals for a Day program. Mr Gate took the reins at Footscray City College and spent the morning showing the year nine and 10 Slow Food class some tricks of the trade. He also took on another cooking class in the afternoon. Mr Gate served his chef’s apprenticeship with Albert Augereau in France and has worked at renowned restaurants across the globe, including Paris fish restaurant Prunier and the Berkeley Hotel in
