THE Footscray Flicks will be returning to Maddern Square for a third year next month to provide movie-goers with a weekend of movies under the stars.

Families can roll out their picnic blankets on 19 Februaury to see a 9pm screening of Juno and then return the next day to catch some pre movie entertainment at 7.45pm before watching Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs at 8.30pm.

”Events like these help to promote Footscray as a destination of choice and highlight what our City has to offer – culture, entertainment and family fun,” Mayor Sel Sanli said.

More than 250 people packed Maddern Square last year to experience the Footscray Flicks and it is expected that many more will attend this year.
