A NEW theatre company is set to make a dramatic entry into Footscray’s arts scene this week.

Fifth Gear Productions, a joint venture between friends Adele Shelley, Phil Hayden and Emma Choy, will focus on new Australian work with a community base – and they’re looking for any interested actors, writers/ lighting and sound technicians and set designers to jump on board.

The launch will be held this Saturday from 4pm at Footscray’s Dog Theatre, 42a Albert St. Entry is $10, and attendees will receive a glass of champagne on arrival.

Band Six Feet Over will be playing.
