FOOTSCRAY police are appealing for witnesses to a daylight robbery in Footscray’s CBD last month.

A 45-year-old Australian man was leaving Footscray Plaza about 4.15pm on Saturday 20 June when he was approached by a female who demanded money. When the victim refused to hand any money over a man then approached and stole the victim’s mobile.

The man is described as Caucasian, in his early 20s, about 173cm tall and was wearing a green jacket and cargo pants. Anyone with any information can call 8398 9878.
