YARRAVILLE comedienne Lana Schwarcz will confront a fear of ageing in her one-woman show Grandpa Sol and Lily’s Grandma Rosie, which opens at the Malthouse Theatre tonight as part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival. Lana plays Jackie, a 31-year-old midwife that is terrified at the thought of getting old – so her counsellor sends her to work at an aged care home. She will be accompanied on stage by six life-sized puppets, whose dialogue comes from audio recordings Ms Schwarcz collected. For the full story see page 4. 29287 Picture: SARAHMATRAY
