THE Kingsville car vandal has struck again.

Maribyrnong Council Wattle Ward councillor Michael Clarke woke up at his Empress Ave residence last Friday morning to find the spare tyre stolen from his wife Janine Wiggins’ Land Rover Discovery.

The vandal had also deflated the back passenger wheel.

“I can’t move (the car),” Cr Clarke said. “This is the second time he’s targeted me. He let down one of my tyres a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was just a puncture.”

The attack occurred a month after a 40-car vandalism spree around Empress Avenue, Somerville Rd and Queensville, Chirnside and Coronation streets left thousands of dollars damage.

Cr Clarke said the street had been the target of street vandalism for the past three years.

He said the culprit, or culprits, were taunting the community. “It’s very clear he’s escalating his behaviour because we’ve been ramping up neighbourhood watch,” he said.
