THE honours keep rolling in for Greater Dandenong lawn bowls supremos Evelyn Martin and Keith Ronaldson.

The two Burden Park bowlers achieved the highest of honours in the league’s mens and ladies RVBA and LVBA competitions this season by each winning the title of Champion of Champions.

The honour is bestowed when club champions across the league compete against each other, and only one winner emerges from the fray.

At last week’s City of Greater Dandenong council meeting, the pair were presented with gifts from city mayor, Peter Brown, at the commencement of the council meeting.

“For a club to produce both champions is a pretty rare feat,” Cr Brown said.
