RESIDENTS are invited to attend the unveiling of a memorial plaque for the late Wes Eggleston, who was the former secretary of Springvale Benevolent Society.

Mr Eggleston died in February after being secretary for the society for 45 years.

The plaque will be unveiled at the historical rock, situated at the rear of the Springvale library on Saturday 28 November at 2pm.

The unveiling will be followed by an afternoon tea in the historical society’s room.
