LOCAL service agency FamilyCare is expanding their services in Kinglake, with the Bushfire Recovery Team to receive extra services thanks to the addition of another staff member.


Marc des Landes will work together with current staff Andrew Roberts and Michael Williams to provide community support and development programs and counselling. He will also still be providing counselling for men, and programs such as Parenting Adolescents and Women’s Anger Management.


FamilyCare Director of Service Development Angela Armstrong-Wright said the agency recognised that some parts of the community, including Kinglake, are requiring extra support during the recovery and rebuilding process.


The Bushfire Community Support Program is based out of the Rebuilding Advisory Community Centre (RACC) in Kinglake.
