CITY of Whittlesea ballerinas Cheree, Kelly and Courtney rehearsed in leaps and bounds for their upcoming roles in The Lakes School production of The Lake. The Lake is a feathered tale of deception and dance, based around the story of the classic Swan Lake. Students from Year 5 to 9 have been rehearsing since term two, with the school band and singers collaborating to write all the original songs in the musical. Curtains go up this Thursday and Friday only. To book your tickets contact the school on 9401 3919.
