THE Metropolitan and Country Harness Racing Association (MACHRA) is conducting an informative evening with Lance Justice, Glenn Douglas and South Australian race caller Jim Jacques at the Taylors Lakes Hotel (Taylors Lakes) on 6 October at 7.30pm. Dan Mielicki will be the MC. With drinks on arrival and supper provided halfway through the evening, limited tickets at $50 are available by contacting Len Baker (0401 679 745). Those in attendance will be given the opportunity to ask the panel questions on the night.

KILMORE’S Rita Burnett and daughter Monique were both in the winners stall at the Shepparton fixture conducted at Bendigo on Monday. Rita aboard the Chris Alford (Bolinda) trained Tirano Bliss in the Shepparton Rentravision two-year-old Pace over 1650m, while Monique piloted the Rita trained Jasper Jeff to land the Quest Serviced Apartments Pace for R1 class over 1650m.

KILMORE’S Tuesday fixture saw local trainer/driver Paul Weidenbach successful with Life Sign/Mumsthaword Lombo colt Thats Life Lombo in the Goulburn Murray Credit Union three-year-old Pace Final over 2180m in 2-03.7.
