IT WAS a tough day out for Broadford’s junior netballers with the under 12s coming up against a tough St Mary’s Seymour side.
The Kangaroos went down 23-6, with the goal scorers Mercades Warren (3), Bonnie Zolniercyzk (2), Chloe Zolnierczyk (1).
On the football side of things, Broadford’s under 12s had a convincing win against St Marys, the final score 10.7 (67) to 0.2 (2).
In the best for Broadford was Lachlan Rae, Riley Dalton (two goals), Patrick Coppinger (three goals), Cameron Berry (two goals), Jake Miceski, Ricky Millar and Brad Coomans.
Broadford’s under 14s kept the winning trend going, knocking off St Mary’s 12.7 (79) to 1.4 (10) in a consistent effort. In the best were Matthew Bulluss, Wade Zolnierczyk, Dallas Zolnierczyk , Thomas Falls, Alex Taylor and Jay Eager. Matthew Dunbar, Liam Lucas, Matthew Dunbar and Brayden Lari led the goal scoring with two apiece.
Broadford’s under 16s went down to St Mary’s Seymour 4.9 (33) to 11.12 (78). The Broadford boys came up against a good side with the St Mary’s boys a well disciplined team.
In the best was John Hussey, Josh Young, Jarryd Smith, Josh Blay, Jordan Mills, Kyle Tucker, Jake Hall with Josh Aitken (two goals) top scoring.
