KIM Galpin kicked off her week at Hidden Valley Golf Course with a win in the Ladies Stableford competition on Monday.

Galpin shot an impressive 38 points to lead the field. In the well attended Wednesday Stableford competition, Jim Watt won A grade with 41 points and John Nugent took B grade honours with 40 points. In the club’s 2009 Ladies Open tournament on Thursday, the A grade scratch winner was Jane Fletcher shooting 77 and Marie Stace took B grade scratch honours with a score of 83.

The Four Person Ambrose event on Saturday was well attended with Peter Dowel, Shannon Riddell, Stephen Blazsanyik and Ian Parry taking the men’s competition with a nett score of 56 and 1/8.
