POLICE will be out enforcing the new road rules and other bike-related offences as more cyclists prepare to hit the roads during the warmer weather.

Some of the bike-related fines that have recently increased include failing to wear a bicycle helmet, which is now a $146 fine and failing to obey a traffic light, with cyclists set to face a $292 fine.
