PARADISE is full of evil plots and a witch doctor that learns how to control her powers.

These are just some of the twists and turns that will keep audiences enthralled at Upwey Primary School’s play.

The play titled, Paradise will take centre stage on Friday at the Kel Watson Theatre, 178-180 Mahoneys Road, Forest Hill.

Audiences will be kept on the edge of their seats as the play follows an evil plot to blow up a bongo tree and build an island resort.

Set in an idyllic island getaway, the plot also follows Bomba, a would-be witch doctor, who is having trouble with her powers.

Ms Fax a fellow witch doctor arrives on the island to practice her witchcraft and helps Bomba to find her powers.

A landing party led by Crawley and CD come to the island and hatch an evil plan to build a resort.

The pair even hatched a plan to blow up and steel the island’s precious bongo tree.

Islander and scout leader, Penny, who was also shipwrecked had discovered the bongo fruits, which mimic the taste of food people desire.

Ms Fax calls together the scouts to help foil the plans to build a resort.

In the end the resort is scuttled and Bomba, Penny and CD discover that they are long lost sisters.
