OFFICER Kangaroos Junior Football Club’s under-16 team fought hard against Narre Warren White, taking charge and outscoring it for three quarters, before going down by 12 points.

With injuries taking a toll, Officer ran out of legs in the last quarter, but kept putting in for the ball.

Berwick came out with the lead in the first quarter. Officer fought back in the second brilliantly led by Dakoda Shaw, across the centre, and worked as a team to provide forward Ashleigh Little with two great goals.

Jamie Boer used his head and great speed across the ground and Tim Armstrong kicked Officer’s third goal. The battle continued in the last quarter with both teams showing a lot of spirit. However, a goal from Joshua Banfield sealed the game.
