IT was a winning round for Nar Nar Goon Netball Club against Nyora at the weekend with all its teams winning.

Nar Nar Goon shot accurately to capitalise on most opportunities.

Sam Cox shot with accuracy and played strong defensive pressure in goal shooting and goal attack.

Lyndsey Boddy and Sam Hodge combined very well in defence with strong rebounding and many intercepts. Stacey Cooper was consistent in mid-court and Prue Evans stepped up to shoot well in the first half.

A good Goon win was created by strong defensive pressure from Lexie Riley at wing defence and Julia McPhee at goal defence.

Changes at half-time did little to unbalance the flow of play. Rebecca Murphy and Jess fry shot very accurately to capitalise on the many opportunities presented to them.

The Goon played an excellent game for all four quarters, with the team building strongly on its lead at each change.

This created opportunities for positional changes resulting in success.

Sam Webster gained many intercepts in defence. Hannah McPhee passed well from mid court into attack. Shae Harrop goaled accurately.

Nar Nar Goon fired with strong leads and intercepts.

Mirae Payroli and Chantelle Joosten worked well taking a number of rebounds.

Ashlee Dore and Taryn Salisbury showed their accurate skill in goals.

A good game by the Goon with all players combining well for a win.

Final Score: Nar Nar Goon 32 d Nyora 15.

Despite a solid win for the Goon, the play was inconsistent with a few unforced errors.

However, with Grace Keysers back in defence, numerous turnovers were obtained. Paige English played well in goals.
