PEARCEDALE had a morale-boosting 19-point win over top-five Nepean League side Dromana with Shayne Gillings slotting seven goals.
The Panthers took control of the game in the second term and dominated the Tigers with former Frankston Dolphin Chris O’Dell named best afield.
Langwarrin was the other notable winner in round 10 when it downed fellow ladder leader Rosebud by 42 points in a high-standard game.
Sorrento defeated Somerville with plenty to spare on the back of four goals from coach Troy Schwarze, while Frankston Bombers and Rye had comfortable wins over Red Hill and Tyabb respectively.
In Peninsula League, Seaford moved to the top of the ladder with a season-defining 28-point victory over Frankston YCW.
The Tigers started slowly, but moved into top gear in the second quarter and never looking back.
Star forward Michael Kraska booted four goals while teammate Anthony Agius was best afield.
Edithvale- Aspendale downed Mt Eliza by 12 points in the close result of the round, while Chelsea had a 24-point victory over Pines.
In the other two games of the round, Karingal upset fourth-placed Bonbeach by 26 points and Mornington smashed Hastings by 99 points in a one-sided match-up.
