Grade 5 students open the 300 showbags Holden recently donated towards their school fete.
LANG LANG Primary School students are busily organising a community car boot sale and fete that they will run on Friday, 22 June.
Grade 5 and 6 students are responsible for organising all aspects of the fundraiser: developing a business plan, organising potential car boot stallholders, running their own stalls and providing feedback to other group members about their performance.
The students have been busy organising a raffle, which includes accommodation, meals and tools as prizes.
Holden has donated 300 show bags for the fete and local market gardeners are donating over 25 cases of vegetables.
Students have already gained financial support for the community car boot sale and fete from Cranbourne Bunnings, Holden, Larmax and local businesses, but would still appreciate donations from local businesses.
The fundraiser will be held between 3pm and 6.30pm on Friday, 22 June at Lang Lang Primary School.
Car boot stalls cost $5 and must be booked through the school.
To book or donate items, contact Fiona or Michael on 5997 5322.
As part of the school’s Enterprise Education program, Lang Lang students have also been researching four companies on the stock market and predicting the outcome after investing $10,000 in their nominated companies for a four-week period.
