POLICE are urging Kooweerup residents to be on the lookout for anything suspicious after break-ins at two businesses in the town in the past fortnight.
Power tools were stolen from a hardware store in Station Street on Monday, 28 May.
The stolen items are believed to be worth about $5000.
Police say two people were sighted with a small red hatchback near the hardware store about 9.30pm.
A few days before the hardware store burglary there was a break-in at a Kooweerup pharmacy.
Police are seeking information from anyone who saw the red hatchback or who has been offered new power tools for sale.
Anyone with information should contact Pakenham Police on 5945 2500.
