NEW tanks will be installed at Cardinia Primary School as part of a bid to save more than 30,000 litres of water per year.
La Trobe MP Jason Wood last week announced the school had received a Federal Government grant for the project.
“Cardinia Primary School will save water by installing water tanks.
“Further savings will come from slow flow devices and timers being fitted to the facilities.
“This project aims to save 38,250 litres of water per year,” Mr Wood said.
