A MEN’S group at Tynong has been given a $400 boost from Cardinia Shire Council.

Bunyip Ward councillor Bill Pearson won support from colleagues to donate the money out of ward funds.

Cr Pearson said the grant would help with the group’s establishment costs.

“The group has been operating for several months and is receiving good community support from the area,” he said.
