A TEENAGER was stabbed when trouble broke out at a weekend party in Tynong.

Police were called after the 18th birthday celebration got out of control in the early hours of Sunday morning. At least 300 young people, including many gatecrashers, attended the event, held in a paddock.

Pakenham CIU Detective Sergeant Phil Jury said a 19-year-old Cranbourne man was taken to Dandenong Hospital with minor injuries.
