Pakenham Business Group vice-president Michael Porter shows how you can win an easy $50 voucher — simply grab a Proudly Pakenham sticker from a local business, place it on your car, park locally and check the Pakenham Gazette to see if your car has been snapped by our photographers. 52361

Motorists who show a bit of ‘Pakenham pride’ while out and about in the town’s CBD could win a $50 voucher – just by parking in new spaces provided by Cardinia Shire Council.

All you need to do is place the sticker on your car and shop local.

Once a week, a Gazette photographer will head down to Pakenham’s new car parking zones and take snaps of cars with the sticker on their rear window.

The photos will be printed in the Gazette, and readers who recognise their car in the photograph will just need to pick up the phone and contact council on 5945 0400 to claim their $50 voucher, to be spent at any retailer in Pakenham’s CBD.

The promotion, designed to encourage support for local traders, will run throughout September.

It is a joint initiative of Cardinia Shire Council, the Pakenham Business Group and the Pakenham Gazette.

Proudly Pakenham stickers are available at businesses throughout Pakenham, including the Gazette.

The new car parks, made available by council to increase spaces during the construction of the new Pakenham Marketplace prec-inct, are on Cook Drive, John Street and Treloar Lane.
