STUDENTS at two government schools in Kooweerup and Dalyston will enjoy getting active and healthy this year after receiving Brumby Government grants of |$6000 each. The Kooweerup Primary School and Powlett River Primary School are the recipients of the grants which will be used on bicycle projects.

“It is incredibly important that our local children learn the benefits of living a healthy and active life while they are still young,” Mr Scheffer said.

“That is why I am pleased the local projects are going ahead,” he said.
