Lisa Norman has been named as the new CEO of St John of God in Berwick.

ST JOHN of God Hospital in Berwick has named its new CEO, Lisa Norman.

Ms Norman will assume the role starting from 27 January.

She has extensive experience in healthcare settings and a track record in driving forward hospital growth.

Her previous role as CEO of St John of God Nepean, saw her double the number of patients in 3.5 years and at the same time improve patient and staff satisfaction. “I strongly believe in patient-centred care as the cornerstone of any quality healthcare system – a philosophy that St John of God fully embodies,” she said. “I have watched how St John of God Berwick has developed into a thriving and modern private hospital after the major redevelopment program of 2007.

“My aim is to take the hospital to the next level and expand the quality services we provide, while at the same time maintaining our high standard of patient care.”

Prior to joining St John of God Health Care in 2006, Ms Norman was Director of Clinical Services at Beleura Private Hospital in Mornington with Ramsay Healthcare.

She also held senior positions at the Valley Private Hospital in Mulgrave.

Deputy CEO Margaret Alexander said the team was “thrilled to have Lisa on board”.
