STUDENTS from 12 primary schools across the Cardinia Shire will get active next week.
Active Cardinia Week promotes physical activity and healthy eating among primary school children in the shire.
It is a joint initiative between the Streets Ahead, Go For Your Life and Sprouting New Ideas projects.
The shire has organised a Walk to School in Cardinia Shire Day next Wednesday as part of the week’s celebrations.
The school that has the highest percentage of students walking on the day wins a bag of 50 sports balls.
